I was planning to get new tires . just wanted to ask a doubt. is it ok that i get just 4 tyres and buy a secondhand tyre for the stepney tyre. of the same specs as the new tyre. or should i get all 5 tyres new ?

Any ways no need to buy a New tyre for Spare wheel, since when ever you change the tyres you will change all 4, (except in a case of tyre brust or cut) and it doesnt make sense to keep three tyres current dates and one tyre 4 years old, or 4 tyres current dates and one tyre 4 years old.

yeah that is true. was just thinking that incase a puncture occurs and you need to change tyres. if the stephney was an old tire would it spoil the balance or alignment.
