Thans Avinash for the pointers. I am hoping 4k is an over estimate too. I have a guy from the auto market coming to look at it tomorrow. He has done great work for me in the past and he is very reasonable. I won’t plan to take the Ram back out until the offroad bumper and lift kit is installed. In the meantime, I am having tough negotiations with my wife to take her Prado. She says I do not have that great of a track record…I said “hey, I have learned my hard lessons…what more could go wrong 🙂 “

Hi Matt…. I could suggest you try Best Line Garage in Ghusais. I got my bumper fitted by him. Yes…. the stock side steps are just a show piece. You could remove them and ask Shibu to fabricate smaller and thinner ones as you will still need to protect you cars body under the doors. All the best hope your beat is sorted out soon

Thanks Duli. Much appreciated for the insight. I just checked out Best Line FB page. They have some great pics of work on trucks including the side steps and rails. I will give Shibu a call in the morning.
