Another fabulous Friday afternoon in sands ๐
Circa 30 cars turnout is becoming a norm lately and its great to see numbers increasing by every passing week :ymapplause:
Firstly, a big thank you goes out to Ashok for organising this drive. As expected due to the turnout and number of available Marshals we had 3 convoys today. Having spoken to fellow drivers at the exit point I get a feeling everyone enjoyed driving in company of our very capable Marshals who are very aptly regarded as amongst best in the business :ymapplause: however, watch out for individual reports.Ours was a small convoy of 5 cars ๐ led by GK. Did we have a blast, boy we were firing all cylinders :ymhug:
GK prepared us for a fewbee ++ to intermediate drive standards, and I must say he kept his promise :ymapplause:
Began slowly with small but tricky dunes and in no time we were climbing higher and higher…Performance review time ๐
Wasi – having driven with u on few occasions now I’m confused what to write about you ๐ notwithstanding your driving skills which I think is one of the best in our learners category but there is somethin about it which I reckon our seniors can appropriately comment on…so, I will play safe and leave the appraisal part for them ๐ having said that I sincerely would like u to soon shout out at everybody and say ” HEY i’ve been working very hard so u better take me seriously now” great drivin with u and look forward for more, brother! :thanks:
Amin – u were sailing elegantly throughout…great going buddy…look forward to driving with u again :thanks:
Rakesh – great to see ur trust on ur ride’s capability. I would think you need to trust yourself more too…a lil improvement on the self believe part and u will be in a different league altogether. Its been a real pleasure driving with u again today and look forward to many many more drives together :thanks:
GK – I throughly loved playin second fiddle to you today and thank you for the opportunity. It truly was a great training session. Your choice of terrain was just fantastic in a location which many would feel is used by anybody and everybody who goes offroading in Dubai…so what’s new? I noticed u were driving us through dunes which barely had any tracks or pre set tyre marks…and look around, u see hundreds of offroaders in the vicinity…cutting the long story short, u showed how not to leave an inch of unexplored dune and how much one can get out of so called the most commonly used and busiest offroading area…MAGIC ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^
All in all a completely satisfying time in sands today.
Thank you one and all :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:
Hey
Wanted to drop a line to say thank you to Ganesh for organizing a wonderful trip and letting us have fun at pink rock
