NIGHT DRIVE ON 20TH DECEMBER FRIDAY
Meeting Time: 18.45Hrs.
Drive Starts : 19.00Hrs.
Drive Ends: Depends on the convoy
Meeting Point Co-Ordinates 24°57’20″N 55°42’47″E (24°57’30.19″N, 55°43’14.45″E)
Meeting Place: In the sand adjacent to the shops, opposite the Big Red Dune on E44.Drive Type: Easy to Intermediate, with some difficult to some really challenging areas in between 😉 .
NOT SUITABLE FOR NEW BEES OR FIRST TIMERS. PLS EXCUSE
All Senior Members and Marshals are most welcome to join.
Please carry enough water and food stuff for yourself and your passengers. Make sure your car is in good condition. Your car must be equipped with front and rear towing point and with the necessary Offroad Gear.

Hello Humayoon,
I will call you once I am free at about 0900-0930 pm and then can come & catch you guys, wherever you are.
It was a short, sweet and very swift night drive. We started off from Badayer and reached Tawi Nizwa with no major obstacles encountered on the way. A few second attempts and that was all there to it. This really demonstrated the effectiveness of a small convoy when doing drives specially when you have Humayun leading and Saif sweeping. It was good to fly around in the dunes under the stars 😀 .
The lights are very good and give a visibility of 15-20 metres. Faheem, I would be very much interested if a 50 inch spec is possible to obtain. Nonetheless, I would like to thank you for taking this initiative :thanks: .
I now await the thesis from Faheem and Saif on the lights :))
