A new group has been created to acknowledge the initiative, aptitude & skills of some of our members.

These are the ones who are always well equipped both vehicle wise as well as equipment wise with good technical knowledge and they always somehow manage to be the first ones to reach a trouble spot.

    The initial group comprises of

    Navin Mohan
    Surendra Pokala
    Saif Jehanzeb Khan.

Kudos guys…keep up the good work!!!
It is always a pleasure & a re-assurance both for the leaders as well as the participants that there are capable hands on board to tackle any tricky situation.

The Off Road Rescue Unit is only meant to rescue vehicles participating on our drives.

It is not a ‘Khairaati’ arrangement for all & sundry to call ;;) ;;) ;;)

Ali, you have a different criteria to become a Marshal. You are one of those who like to lead. Offroad Rescue Unit are those guys to dont like to lead but still stand out in convoy in their driving skills and help others. There are a group of Marshals always who are known as a Sweep Team. They are the guys because of whom the leader can continue enroute without worrying about whats happening behind. They make sure that noone is left behind. We have renamed it because everyone uses “Sweep Team” and made it “Offroad Rescue Unit”. You are going very well. Keep it up!

    Thank you Fateh.

and yes I do agree Sweep is as important as Leader. Infact a Sweeper Should be an expert.
