Hello everyone…. I was in the convoy of the 14cars lead by Duncan. I must say it was a very slow drive hehe… We spent most of the time outside the car instead of being inside the car =))
After the first stuck… all the cars were scattered for another 15 minutes as everyone had lost the track… 1 convoy was divided to 3 convoys with people going all in different directions… Finally we all managed to get together again and then everyone was repositioned….
We all had fun at the Iftaar bowl (which we finally managed to reach after almost 2.5 hrs from Badayer) =))
It was the first ever time I had gone up the Iftaar bowl…. It was an amazing feeling after sucessfully coming down for the first time… (even though there was a lot of screaming and shouting from the people in my car :-ss ). First try I managed to go half way up and had to turn around… As they say.. never give up… I tried again and this time managed to reach the peak and turn around :ymapplause:
Sadly after the Iftaar bowl we had to head back to Badayer due to time =((
I was just behind Sanjay while he was leading us to Badayer… And Im sure that Sanjay and Me enjoyed this drive back as we kept racing back to Badayer (This was the longest drive without a stop during this drive) =))
Finally, for this drive.. I am sure Sanjay must have got a good sleep after all the recoveries performed by him =))
Thats all for now… Hope to see you all next week… This time for a fast paced drive…
I wil be posting pics of the drive in the Gallery.. Enjoy
Cheers!!!

:drive:Hi David, you can get yr 1k out of the way in a single weekend visit to Muscat, a worthwhile cultrual thing to do anyway,if you go via Al Ain and Jebel Akhdar at 2100 mts stop for lunch and continue to Muscat for supper, returning next day or a day later…. :yesss: that’s your ‘run in’ period.
I didn’t think that was still necessary these days ๐ with the modern Pentastar engine, just an oil change?
Anyway I digress, for a list of offroad gear go here http://www.dubaioffroadlive.local/forums/viewtopic.php?f=16&p=28024#p28024

Where would I be able to buy a flag?
