Starting this week, I would like to introduce two media competitions:
Photo of the week
Video of the weekProcedure to choose the best photo and video of the week:
We’ll have a poll started on Sunday which will run till next Sunday for each (photo and video) and the photo and video with the highest votes will get the title.Photo of the week will be featured on the Dubai Offroaders website before every first post in every topic with credits given to the photographer with link given to his/her choice of URL (for example your portfolio or blog URL). If you do not have a portfolio or blog, the URL of your name will link to your DO profile.
Video of the week will be featured on the Dubai Offroaders website before all content on the main page with credits given to the videographer with link given to his/her choice of URL (for example your portfolio or blog URL or YouTube channel). If you do not have a portfolio or blog, the URL of your name will link to your DO profile.
Procedure to submit your pictures and videos:
For submission of photos:
Head over to Dubai Offroaders Gallery and post your pictures.
I will start a new topic every Sunday put links of your pictures for people to vote on.
Use the improved image uploading feature – you’ll see ‘Add image to post’ under the text block when posting a new topic or reply to upload your pictures.
All photos that are submitted (regardless of being chosen as the photo of the week) will be posted on the Dubai Offroaders Instagram account over the course of the week.For submission of videos:
Head over to the Dubai Offroaders Video Gallery and post your video URLs after uploading your videos on YouTube.
As of today, the Dubai Offroaders Videos forum is locked and is only for archiving purposes and for all future submission of videos, the video gallery is to be used.This is an opportunity for members to see their media content up on DO website. I thank all participants in advance for your contributions to the club.
