    EVENT DETAILS.
    This event is open for all off road community, participants can be from different clubs but needs to sign in as a team.
    Each team consist of 3 vehicles ,intermediate and above level
    The Newbies/fewbie are not allowed to participate, since being an adventure sport, this is an inherently dangerous and a newbie participation could result in irretrievable stucks, vehicle damage or worse…
    1st come 1st serve basis, limited slots
    Members can coordinate and make their teams 1st and the list down as following.

    for example
    Team A
    Driver 1
    Driver 2
    Driver 3

    We will have to get a physical disclaimer signed by all the participants and their passengers. No participant or passenger will be allowed without signing the disclaimer. This also means that we have to have a copy of the Emirates ID of all participants. The sign on the disclaimer and the Emirates ID have to be same.

    The 25 way points will be provided including start and finish point , teams have to go through all the way points in a sequence to the finish point.
    The team will finish with the less distance and staying on the track without missing any way point will be winner, and will be awarded Trophy and significant reward’s as well as the runner up.
    Prizes include trophies, ??????????????????

    A lunch Box will be provided to all the participants , both Veg and non Veg.
    This is not a race against time, hence no need to rush, you can be the last team to reach at finish point but still can win.
    A proper GPS recording device is required , please bring your data transfer cable with you as well, make sure to record your track at 50 meter interval. Its participants responsibility to provide the GPS track in *.gpx file and the gps readings at the finish line , failure to do so will result in disqualification, feel free to bring your own laptop to share the GPX file.

    who will be disqualified !
    1. Missing a way point.
    2. Recording the track at more than 50 meter interval.
    3. Any damage to your vehicle which requires a Police report.
    4. Arriving late at starting point.
    5. Not able to navigate and reach at starting point.
    6. Not having proper GPS and Off Road gear.(Track given by mobile apps has to match the track length with the recording points)
    7. Not able to provide GPX file for the track at finish point.
    8. Any team member of any team that needs any assistance from the sweep Marshall’s team.
    9.Not handing over immediately the GPS reading and the track along with the GPS to DO Marshall once reach the finish line.
    10.If any team not able to reach at way point 20 latest by 2:00, will be disqualified and will be escorted to finish line.
    12.If any team deviates more than 500 meter left or right from the track will be disqualified.
    13.Make sure to cross each way point not more than the range of 50 meter to stay in the challenge.
    14.Crossing or blocking the track for other participants,will lead you to immediate disqualification.

    Do not forget to send SMS to the Sweep team,crossing way point, It will help sweep team to track all the teams,Etisalat mobile signals most probably will be available , to sms the number will be provided after the registration is complete

    Checklist:
    a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
    b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
    c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
    d) Compatible Radio is a must.
    e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
    f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).
