May 30, 2009 at 3:27 am #11349Thanks to Marshal Suri for leading the Night Drive & to Marshal Navin for keeping everybody moving.
I had to rush off due to an emergency at home & could re-join only after a couple of hours at the camping spot.
The weather & the camping spot was perfect, Habib made some really nice BBQ & some were in really high spirits…literally!!!
Hamad, one of our first timers had a nice bonfire going immediately, though it was not until morning that it got chilly that it was required.
Thanks to Manisha for the multiple rounds of tea, this re-freshment was definitely required to fully appreciate the Pink Sunrise…
I hope Everybody had a good time & look forward to more night drives, evading the heat…while still enjoying the outdoors.
May 31, 2009 at 6:06 pm #11351I have posted some of Anil Berry pics, still waiting for Manju’s pics…
the first time i ever experienced that there is a temperature which is not too cold & not too hot, guys the temperature was exactly in the middle of both
I think all the guys were awake till 4:00am lying on the mat, staring at the stars, & then we went or a drive till 8:30 am in the morning, again thanx to Mr.Ahmed for leading the trip till saddle point & then taken over by suri till the fossil rock area.
All in all I must say exceptionally good trip
For guys who did not attend the trip, incase you guys are palning on a morning trip, i would suggest you guys start early morning by 4:30am and wind up by 7:00am – 7:30am, as the sand is already really hot by 7:00am
