Friends,
Humble request to all.
After my pajero met with an accident 3 weeks ago, i have been actively searching for LC Prado/land Cruiser but unsuccessful as of now. I have seen plenty of prado’s but the price is way high ie. for 2006 prado basic option people are fixing 74000 AED and for 2007 85000 AEd. I have met many dealers like 4 x 4, Al Futtaim, Dyna Trade and many others also in Ras Al Khor but they are 15 – 20 K higher compared to market price.
I have even visited Abu Shagara but cannot able to communicate with many people as i do not know arabic. I am unable to explain the stress and mind set when u miss the rides on Friday.
I am looking for a vehicle with a budget from 60K to 75K and the year from 2004 to 2007 so that i can cover full comprehensive insurance.
If any of you come across good LC Prado/Land Cruiser in this budget, i humbly request you to refer me.
Thanking you all in advance for your support and understanding.
rgds,
Humayun Shareef

Fortuner is Equally Capable to a Prado. infact its approach and departure angles are better than Prado. the Only Downfall is, it is made in Thailand where as Prados are made in Japan, but in reality on ground it doesnt make much difference since most parts are made in japan and only assembled in Thailand.
New Pathfinder is not a Vehicles one would like to use for intermediate + offroading.
Fortuner is basically an extension on Toyota Hilux pick up chassis. The on road travelling comfort is much lower than a Prado. But it might suit the off roading due to the fact that its ground clearance is slightly more than Prado. This could be a disadvantage too. if possible, Just try driving a Prado V6 and a fortuner V6, you will feel the difference…..
