Sweihan Drive
Day and date: Saturday 23 December
Drive Meet: 06:45
Drive Start: 07:00
Drive End: 10:30 at the latest.
Meeting Point: Will share via whats-app.
Convoy Type: There will be atleast 1 convoys dependent on marshal participation; 1st convoy Fewbie+ max 8 cars including marshals/deputies.
Entry Requirements/Safety: Marshals decision on the participating fewbies. This is will be atleast a fewbie+ drive. For your safety I will only add fewbies that have sufficient skills for Sweihan.Etiquette:
1) Don’t sign up and not turn up – your stopping someone else from coming. On limited spaces drive you won’t be added If you have repeatedly flaked in the past.
2) Drive will start on time. Don’t moan if the convoys left without you or message me that your running late. Your choice (a) turn up on time for the drive, or (b) don’t sign up and have a sleep in like normal people.Checklist:
a) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
b) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
c) Compatible Radio is a must. You won’t be allowed to drive without one.
d) Carry enough refreshments for yourself & co-passengers.
e) Have an off road flag properly attached to your car.
Will not be able to join. At that time on the way to Oman.

Sorry guys I will not be able to make it
Beautiful drive after waiting for the fog to clear for almost 90 minutes. No stucks, no recoveries just hard wet sand. Great area with great people to drive with. We covered 43km in 100 minutes.
Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks Simon. It was a foggy morning start with wet sand but we finally managed to enjoy another great drive in Sweihan. Looking forward to next one.
