quote rajudxb:Mr.Ganesh when you are planning to go ? We (2 Families in one car) are planning to go by Thursday Evening. Please let me know your plan.
Hi Raju,
Even we are planning to go on thursday evening. We might leave by 6.30 – 7pm, follow the Hatta-Oman road. Have you taken the visa or will u obtain it at the border. I have already done the visa arrangements for my entire group, so that i dont waste the time at the border. It is festival time and there might be too much rush at the border.
Let me know what are your plans..
regards,Hi Mr.Ganesh,
We are also planning the same time. We are planning to start from Dubai by 7PM. After searching we found this is the shortest route to salalah ( ALAIN – MAZYAD – IBRI – NIZWA – ADAM – HAYMA – MUQSHIN – QATBIT – TUMRYAT – SALALAH). Can you please give me the details for applying visas ? Tell me your free time so that i can call you for more details.

You can call me any time..no probs..
Secondly the Oman consulate in Dubai are closed from tomorrow….so I doubt whether they will accept the applications today…their timings are 9-12 noon and they take one day to process the visa. Thanks for your reply. Any way we will start early to avoid delay in the border and we are planning to take the route from Alain. Pls give me ur suggestion about the route ( ALAIN – MAZYAD – IBRI – NIZWA – ADAM – HAYMA – MUQSHIN – QATBIT – TUMRYAT – SALALAH).

Never drive if you feel drowsiness. Pull out the car from the road as much as you can, park safely and take a nap for 10 – 15 minutes. Then you will feel freshness. Always park the car far away from tarmac. Because most of the vehicles are travelling on these roads above 140km/hr.
