Ways to install a flag pole on your car.
For random 4x4s, there are 2 ways that i know are efficient. Both tested and work like a beauty.
1- Fishing rod on the spare tyre:
Requirements:
Fishing Pole: Dragon Mart (75-100AED)
Bungee Ropes: Ace Hardware (30AED)
Cable Ties: Ace Hardware (15AED)
Face Cloth or Flag: Carrefour (5AED)How to:
Tie down the fishing rod on your spare rim properly using at least 3 ropes, make sure it doesnt wobble around and is steady in place. Now make small holes on the edge of the face cloth or flag and install it on top of the fishing rod using the cable ties. 10 holes should be enough and it would look ok. Spread the fishing rod and Voila you have yourself a Flag.2- ATV bikes’ flag on Suction Lifters
Requirements:
Suction Lifter: Dragon Mart (45-60AED)
ATV Bike Flag and Pole: Dragon Mart (15AED)
Cable Ties: Ace Hardware (15AED)
Duct Tape: Ace Hardware (15AED)How to:
Attach the pole on the Suction Lift’s arm using the duct tape. Stabilize that using proper cable ties, alot of them too! make sure its steady. Another layer of duct tape over the cable ties and ur ready. Install the suction cup on your rear window (right or left).July 30, 2008 at 5:38 pm #6637quote Ahmed Pervez:Visibility…in un-foreseen conditions…Translation: so you can make sure the car crossing the dune in front of u has cleared.
