Saturday 13th Sept – Intermediate Drive

    Day and date: Saturday 13th September 2014

    Drive Type: Intermediate to Advance Drive depending on participants. /:)

    Meeting Point:
    24.717384, 55.620196 (google maps)
    N24° 43.023′ E55° 37.235′ (GPS users)

    Meeting Time: 15.15pm
    Drive Start Time: 15.30pm sharp

    Drive Route &Terrain: Side Sloping, Ridge Riding, Cresting, Big Dunes, Technical Dunes :ymhug:

    Duration: 3 hours (sundown)

    A :drive: from Al Faquaa Mosque to some big dunes with long ridges and bowls. Technical dunes to begin with soft sand.

    Hope some of you can make it before the work week starts again. 😀

    Checklist:-

    a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
    b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
    c) Ensure your 4 x 4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
    d) Compatible Radio is a must.
    e) Carry all necessary off-road gears / recovery equipment in good condition.
    f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).
    g) Off-road Insurance advisable.

    All is good it was a bit funny actually, someone complained to the cops about my driving and i was called to the police station. After hearing both the sides of the story the cop gave that guy a hefty fine. All i lost out on was time and a great drive 🙁
