THE REPORT
An Awesome and wonderful morning drive….
First of all let me please take the pleasure to thank our Chief – Offroad Unit – Mr. Thanseer for his presence for this drive…it was nice to see you back in action Sir, with your new pajero…. :thanks:
Also many congratulations to the Lead marshal for today’s drive – Mr. Gerald Pinto.. :ymapplause: :ymapplause: ..
The meeting point was Badayer shops where we all met at 6 am, deflated the tyres….Gerry gave us a short briefing and set the convoy numbers….Gerry was followed by Amjed, then myself, Robinson, Ashok and Kumar & Thanseer were at the sweep…..Humayun couldnt make it for this drive as he had some issues with his car..
The drive started off with the normal tracks and then Gerry challenged himself and gave us a good safe route on the dunes….The plan was to go the two-tree valley and then to Iftar bowl….somehow we couldnt reach the two-tree valley but then we all reached the Iftar bowl by 7.45am….Everyone tried their best to reach on top of the bowl…The successful ones were Gerry and Amjed….Thanseer almost reached there with his new toy…..
Gerry…i must say…. :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: to you for lead and the experience we had following you….Iam sure you will be a thorough marshal in due course…..You are already getting well experienced in reading the dunes and making out the right track out of it….well done marshal….
The lead got stuck a couple of times at the crest…just to read the area behinf the dunes….but nevertheless all this hicupps makes a man perfect….Thanseer and GKumar with their expertise got him out….and we all had a very safe and fun drive….we reached back to the Badayer shops by 8.50am…
Each one of us drove well and let us have a :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: for ourselves too ๐
The pics will be soon uploaded in the gallery as well as our facebook page….
See you all soon for the next drive….I may be missing a week’s drive as my darling (Pajero) is going to the garage for a repair…
Till then….drive safe and be happy…..Cheers :drive:
