Drive report: badayer to Iftar bowl
All participants assembled at badayer shops at 6:00 am when we had a surprise when our early bird rescue chief showed up! Thanks to Thanseer for making it for the drive to support us !
Quite an interesting drive for me, with some exciting twists and turns! Excellent driving by everyone with no stucks except me! – good job by Kumar – I see u r improving:). Seriously though felt good knowing you were there and had my back!
We played a bit once we reached Iftar bowl and then decided we still had 45 minutes to drive in the sand! So we took the desert route back to badayer, which turned out to be lots of fun. I hope everyone had fun , I know I did!Look forward to the next one!
As usual Ganesh covered each and every aspect of the drive, nothing more in specific to add to the drive report. :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:
It was an awesome morning, quite cloudy which gave a break to the scorching morning sun. Perfect morning weather for offroading, during this peak summer, favoring Gerry for his maiden lead as Marshal ๐ The convoy was a very good line up of experienced Captains with the expert recovery backup of Thanseer, may be a little more than the lead expected :-BD
We started the drive heading to two tree valley, but got drifted to Iftar bowl. Gerry did a fair job in his maiden lead at a tough terrain. You did stick to the basics of a lead by not attempting what you were 100% sure, thereby never risked the safety of the convoy. Couple of stucks for the lead were also due to the same reason. With couple of more lead drives, you will definitely gain more confidence to tackle the dunes at lead.
Rest of the convoy were driving like Champs. No need of special appreciation, as all are now experts in this business.. . ๐ ๐ You all drove very well, carefully and calculatedly tackled the bowls and sharp drops :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:
Altogether it was a safe drive and had fun as well :drive: Thank you all for the company. :thanks:
