Guys I can’t see the post for next weekends drives yet …come on fella’s what’s up ๐
:thanks:To Wasi, I kept a cake for you
Meeting Point : Badayer shops
Time : 7.30 am
Convoy 1 – Lead Ganesh,Brain, Rakesh,Bubban,David,Razik,Musbah, Syed at sweep
Convoy 2: Lead โ Ashok, Rein, Jason,Dhaval,Amin,Shabeer,Mathew & Amjed at Sweep
Moderator : ThanseerAll the driver met at Badayer shops and as designated both the convoys Ashokโs & Ganeshโs โ Brain, Rakesh,Bubban,David,Razik,Musbah, Syed) eagle eye( Thanseer) left from the meeting point at 8 am to quench the sand thirst.
Before that DO soverniers were distributed to the marshals present and also the previous member of week , Musbah,Brain & Mathew.
And Brain distributed the home baked muffins & cup cakes, thanks Brain. The drive was very smooth with small hiccups ( second attempts) & stucks which were dealt with ease, Ashok took the convoy like a piece of cake, the trick tracks, soft bowls and high dunes, the convoy was floating on the sands.
Rein you have mastered the art and Amin as well, you both drove very well, Dhaval & Jason you both too have done very well but you both need to know more about your vehicle and its capabilities which will improve more of your skills to conquer the dunes and kill the fear factor which is main cause to get stuck.
Shabeer no need to mention about your driving you have already proved yourself as an excellent sand bug
Mathew excellent work at sweep & with wonderful company Paul, you have excelled the art & improved a lot of your skills, hats of guys.
Over all everyone done well at todayโs drive & thanks to Ashok to choose an excellent terrain as per the convoy allocated , another feather to your hat today !I had a flying day as was free to capture the convoy & keep an eye on the convoy, apart from another Eagle Eye (SIR Thanseer ) which was somewhere invisible but a watch was always there & thanks to Syed bhai as could hear him all through the drive pushing the drivers on the radio.
The drive ended at Shuieb Adnoc at 12 pm and we all left home
Look forward to see you all soon again, drive safe & have fun.
***Note: would advice drivers not to bring family or kids to intermediate drive for your own safety.
Guys now look forward to your reports & feedback about today’s drive.

February 16, 2013 at 5:57 pm #23380Mr. Ashok & Mr. Ganesh…Splendid job done once again, Fantastic track selection and individual leads. This is indeed another addition of a golden feather to your respective crown…
The terrain chosen by Ashok was full of fun drive whilst trying to catch up with him and following his tracks, at times it was difficult to keep up with is pace…tricky fellow…knows his grounds well!!!
The drive was approx 40kms and 3.75hrs of pure exhilarating fun.
Thanks to Amjed, Mathews n Paul and Tansheer who were keeping a watchful eye on the convoy and assisting with instructions and help when and where required when the members were in a situation. Many thanks to by fellow drivers, Jason, Dhaval, Aemi and Sabeer for participating and your compainship.
Every drive with DO, I keep on learning more and something new of the sands while also get familiar to the responses of my White Stallion, on this drive…he responded quite well in trying to catch up with Ashok. Thanks Amjed for the feedback…the more you do the more knowledge n skills you gain.
Moreover I think it was due the unlasting energy provided by Brian…his yummy cupcakes and pies. Thanks Brian for the kind gesture, your pies and cupcakes were delicious…would you mind sharing the recipe???quote Aemi:Dear GKumar, dont know about feed back and coments but where are you.??
