Sorry Ganesh, for leaving the drive midway. Guess I missed the most exciting part of the drive. The lead to Pyramids and Iftar bowl was superb with some outstanding sweep work by Syed Bhai and Kumar.

Thanks Musbah, Wasi, Shabeer, Denis and Brian for the excellent drive and company on this beautiful morning and day. :thanks:

Hey Ganesh, :thanks: awesome lead my friend ^:)^ :drive: , great :drive: – good company, we may not have beaten the ghosts, they certainly did their best to stop enroute ๐Ÿ˜• …even a pop-out 2kms away ๐Ÿ˜€ !! But DO’ers we got there save and sound, plus the Iftar bowl provided something for us to feed from!!!!
    :thanks:
Thanks to sir Kumar and Said for their support, encouragement and kind words, Mr Musbah for his generosity …and winch ๐Ÿ˜€ , my very best regards to Shabeer, Wasi, Saj & just Den for their company & good humour….brothers of the sand :ymhug: ‘Just for FUN’ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

see you all soon, pic’s are on FB

No issues Sajid…yes the remaining part of the drive after you left was too exiting….but these areas will be always there and we will be challenging them many time in future and you will defenitely experience them soon…

Wait for the comments of other people….you will know what is the Ghost Town drive all about…. ๐Ÿ˜€
    Cheers

    Sorry Guys,
a few spelling corrections & apologies to last post I made: I mean Syed Bahi of course and well we did all get to Ghost Town safe & sound amid the camels ..or were they the ghosts crossing our paths with a hex ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ….no wonder they keep the gate from the road closed… ๐Ÿ˜• is it to keep the ghosts in …..or let those who dare, and arrive sweating- beaten & battered but triumphant out ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ :thanks:

What a day and drive…. :ymblushing: :ymblushing: :ymblushing: Certainly its one of the best offroading days I had recently :-BD :-BD :-BD

I am restricting myself from making a drive report, as I prefer to leave that task to Dada ๐Ÿ˜‰ He reserves full right for the drive report as today he gave all of us a grand treat in sands ๐Ÿ™‚

It was my first drive with Ganesh at lead… You did a splendid job Dada :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^ You can be proud of what you did today :ymparty: :ymparty: :ymparty:

You perfectly adapted to the drive level and more importantly you drove to the convoy and not to show off your skills. That’s a quality man!!! :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: It was a perfect lead with excellent coordination with the support team :-BD. At some point, I was finding it difficult to follow your track and had to opt for another one… ๐Ÿ˜€

Special thanks and appreciation to Syed Bhai for his great support to Dada at sweep :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

It was an awesome cool morning, amazing climate and it was drizzling when we started. Indeed it was a wonderful group of offroad enthusiasts to drive with and I really enjoyed the company. Today I was joined by my daughter and she was very eager to visit Ghost Town. She was concerned whenever there was a recovery and use to ask me – Will we reach ghost town? :)) :)) :)) For some reason, she couldn’t join me on all my previous drives to ghost town. Finally, she was very excited to be at ghost town, which she had seen all these time only in pictures. Her thanks as well goes to Dada ๐Ÿ™‚ Today she took the role of photographer as Dada was busy at lead and pictures are posted at FB (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.10151399494392356&type=1)

Excellent driving at second lead by Musbah :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: Also thanks for all your support to the convoy :-BD
Improved and controlled driving by Wassi. Nice job mate :-BD :-BD :-BD. Keep up the good work. I am happy for you for 3 reasons a) Reported very early at the meeting point, b) Nice driving c) No radio message in between the drive to stop, to go home ๐Ÿ˜€
Shabeer, though you drove well, I know you had a tough day today. No probs mate, the terrain was challenging due to the rain impact and the gear limitation of your car didnt allow you to self recover. But you drove very safely and that matters more. So it was good job, keep it up :-BD :ymapplause:
Denis, you need to have more confidence on yourself and your car :-BD. You were hesitant most of the time and decided even before attempting that you cannot do it. Hope you realized by the end of the drive, you can do much better than you expected ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I am sorry for asking you to terminate the drive at Iftar bowl. I didnt want to risk yourself and hope the oil leakage was due to minor mechanical issue.
Very good driving by Saj :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: May need to understand your toy better. Keep driving and you will definitely get synchronized with your machine :-BD You missed the most challenging part of the drive due to personal commitments, dont worry – Always there is next ๐Ÿ™‚
Brian, you were flying with your toy :-BD ๐Ÿ™‚ However, I felt at some places you were overpowering your machine. Drive bit relaxed and focus more on controlled driving. You are true offroader ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ Keep up the good job :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:
Who else is left in the convoy… oh its only me. I thoroughly enjoyed the drive and the company.

Sorry Mathews as you overslept today missing this drive ๐Ÿ™ Do not forget to set 2 or 3 alarms next time ๐Ÿ˜€ Infact, we missed you for this drive.

Thank you all for joining this drive and I look forward to drive with you all again, many more in sands :drive: :drive: :drive:

To start with the review of today’s drive – All where in time for meeting time, including me… ๐Ÿ˜‰
We were lead by Dada as usual a professional lead with comfortable track to the tricky terrains.
There were couple of stucks and re do’s in the convey until we reach Iftar bowl..

Iftar bowl the first time i was a passenger with Thanseer in an advance drive long back and now today got an opportunity to hit on it…i reached the top after 2 attempts with timely guidance of Syed bro…S I DID THE TOP OF IFTAR BOWL :yesss: :yesss: :yesss: ..

From there we had to say good bye to Sajid, Denis. Later the journey to Ghost town continued with many weird stucks by almost all but as Brianj said the DO’s never backed off and with key ful sweep from Syed bro / G Kumar / Musbah gave us motivation to carry over the tricky small dunes..it seem to be simple but due to the soft and tricky sand it needed momemtum at all time…Finally with all efforts we reached Ghost town with an total satisfaction of the drive.. :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

A few feedbacks requested from Mr.G Kumar / Dada / Syed bro:
I was told by Mr.Kumar to play around the dunes alone…any feedback upon my test.. :-ss
Mr.Kumar/Dada/Syed bro – How was i @ Iftar bowl, and pls lemme know my Do’s / Dont’s… :-ss

Finally i would like to thanks the lead Dada, sweeps Mr.Kumar / Syed bro and my companions Shabeer/Musbah(Winch man)/Sajid/Denis/Brianj for an again wonderful drive-“JUST FOR FUN”… :thanks:
