I need a spare key for my car. I have been quoted 700AED as it appears keys are quite sophisticated -there is a transponder/transmitter that sends a code for the car to start.

Does anyone know any shop where cutting keys is more affordable?

The jeep key include a chip as well. Normal shops will only be able to replicate a,key that will open doors but not actually start the car…

I have been quoted 700dh as well by alfutaim. I m sure there is someone in Sharjah who does that. Maybe the guy in international city does that … We just need to check.

minutes’s services are quite expensive. They fit the bill if you want something last “minute”.

No idea about the billing. But they do the job.
