Had my rear differential fluid changed there yesterday. Good service and good price. The garage is still relatively new (a couple of months) but the guys who work there seem all experienced. If you’re taking your 4×4, better call Noor as he is experienced with 4x4s. They also did a full check up on my car and made sure all screws and bolts are tight.
Hi guys,
Unfortunately I am not having the same experience with Splendour. My Jeep has been in their shop since last Wednesday (Feb 3) for the checkup and to check some misfiring. They found the issue on Thursday, gave me a verbal quote, promised a formal quote on Saturday and return on Sunday, but are so unorganized that they haven’t even sent me a formal quote for the work (it is now Monday, Feb 8).
On top of that, today the verbal price went up from the verbal price I got on Thursday.
I have tried calling them mulitple times over the past few days, always getting a “we’ll call you back response” only to not actually get a call back. Instead I’ve showed up several times to get information, but nothing seems to be moving forward. A lot of promises with no delivery.
I am now at a loss at what to do because I need my jeep to finish some checks and packing strategy before I take it to Oman this Thursday morning for the Wahiba Sands dune drive. This is becoming a total fail.
Anyone have an idea? Alternative? The jeep needs a new coil to be ready for Wahiba Sands.

February 10, 2016 at 3:19 am #34953Everyone will have a different opinion on the service that they receive whether its a bank, restaurant or garage. I guess we can only recommend on our own experiences which is often related to our own levels of expectations! … sounds like I’ve been doing too many focus groups lately!!!
Its good to see an another option for a garage on this side of town. Thanks for the post.
I was at Splendour Autocare today for a drive belt , diff oil, transmission, power steering and brake fluid change and I must say they were professional and quick with the job. To add to it they checked my car and tightened up loose bolts and greased up the required joints. Noor worked on my car and he definitely knows a lot about SUV’s; especially the ones going offroad. This is the only garage I have come across in Dubai that doesnt over charge and kick a fuss when it comes to working on an Xterra . That being said I’d certainly recommend other Xterra owners to go to them.
As with all start-ups, some customers might have faced issues (they are only 3-4 months old) but I for one didnt face any problems.February 11, 2016 at 10:07 pm #34971Amazing!! When this offer is going to end?? Hopefully i will take my car next week.

November 5, 2016 at 3:15 am #37074Do they do a service package? I got an offer from [famous alternative to official Toyota service] trade, and for 4,600 aed they give me 50,000 km services, 1 every 10,000 km. I have an fj cruiser gxr 2016, today or tomorrow I will do the 30k service so then I’ll need a good offer for service package. But, of course, it has to have the same or better specs than the Toyota service ๐
