Since not all snakebites can be treated with the same anti-venom, it is often the case that hospitals require the patient to give accurate description of the snake or, . even better, to catch it and bring it along so that the correct serum can be injected

I was thinking of adding razor blade in my offroading kit after reading the first para, now i think we need lot more.

Carrying a razor is a good idea … I remember Shan carrying a swiss army knife. 😕
Actually it’s a small folding knife I still have from my knife collecting days… (don’t ask… ).
