The whole group of Staff of Dubai Offroaders will now be known as The Task Force.
It has been done to reflect the nature of the work The Force does out on the field, as the organisation and the smooth conduct of the Drives is basically due to the initiative & the ability of this group.
The Task Force will also be responsible for the running of the group, for the promotion of the members & for making any major decisions to better manage the affairs of the group.
The Marshal is the lead Marshal, unchanged, remaining as it was.
The offroad rescue unit members have been renamed as The Rangers to differentiate them from the (lead) Marshals, to clearly define their role as the monitor & guardians of the Convoy, making sure that the convoy is moving safely & smoothly & to assist & guide those who are having any difficulties.
This decision is being implemented after careful deliberation and a voting among The Task Force.
The website is being updated. 🙂

Good evening Hamza, so that I may better understand the status quo within the group and with reference to the subject of your post. Do I understand that the lead Marshall is the one who posts his desire to lead a group into the sand and that the person who we refer to as the sweep(s) is/are the Ranger(s) and that the requirement is for 2 Marshall to be involved in a group for that group to be ‘in order’?
