This a great Pick and a doog ideea to share technical info.

it would be much better and beneficial for the new commers if we see and analyse these new gadgets in our Desert driving perspective with our own views ans comments.

My views are. Traction control is a superb gadget but only for Road driving, and some high mountain climbing on small rocky stones) terrain, it actually effects negatively while dune bashing.

so one should switch it off while dune bashing,

various cars have the option to switch it off, if it doesn’t than you can switch it off by pulling of the tarraction control fuse, (you can always refer you manual for fuse position) some times it might be in a small fuse box on left side under you Dash board, and some time it lies in the main fuse box under the hood.

Similarly the ABS can also some time proved dangerous in Dune Bashing since we have to switch it off as well, if possible.

Correct !!! These electronic Gadjets are a major nuisance for more advanced drivers in most situations…as they severely restrict the vehicles ability and may even be dangerous in certain extreme situations.
