I’ve no experience but the company I posted yesterday with the anti popout system also has a tyre pressure monitor http://www.tyron.co.uk
Who wants to pay a 1000 bucks for just monitoring the tyre pressure, and that too on an offroad vehicle, with AED 50 it can be done by a stop-over. Good for on road cars..
I have to agree with David on this. The technology sounds really cool, especially for a tech geek like myself but not sure it’s worth spending the money on something you will rarely use, at least not when off-roading, of course if you have another requirement, that’s something else.
In most of the USA it is law that you have tire monitors, even with aftermarket tires after a certain model year. It isn’t law here yet, but the day may come…

It isn’t law here yet, but the day may come…I have a tyre monitor system that came standard with the FJ Cruiser, a tyre sign Flashes in yellow on the Dashboard if the tyre pressure is lower/higher than the stipulated range.
It is definitely a good feature for on road cars with negligent owners who may not check the pressures regularly.
It may not be that relevant for us offroaders, who generally take better care of their vehicles and the tyres as it is, getting deflated & inflated every week tends to keep the correct pressures.
One word of caution, though, for those of us who get their tyres inflated at a tyre shop, post drive, always re-check the tyre pressure once the mechanic is through, as he might be negligent/ careless or his gauge might be inaccurate.
