As far as my info goes…Yes, this should take place as decided.
MEO is celebrating the Independence days of India & Pakistan & organizing a family Drive to commemorate the occasion.
The drive starts @ 2100Hrs. Thursday 14th August till Sunrise 15th August.
It will be a short track drive, of about an hour to the campsite where we will have a Barbecue & get together,
those with an inclination to camp may do so, at the site.
The intended campsite is the high Dune opposite Jebel Al Faya.
the exit to a tramac road is very close so participants may leave at their own discretion.
All members are welcome to join as there is no restriction on Nationality/ Age/ sex.
We will carry flags of both Hind & Pak.
We will have Nationalistic music playing on a suitable music system.
Suggestion & ideas including those for activities & menu are most welcome.Morning…start playing on the Saddle point as soon as dawn breaks…then have some breakfast…& head home…for a well deserved rest!!!
