Dear Hamza, Can you please do something with the user “esillesbacwill”. All the posts are now messed up with unrelated and unwanted advertisements including e-catalogues of wedding dresses!!!

I could also see that “esillesbacwill” is a registered member given access couple of days back. Does it mean that it is permitted by any one of the web administrator?

One bot must have got in which was running scripts and posting advertisements. I have deleted all the posts and threads in questions and Thanseer deleted the user quickly. So thanks to Thanseer for his quick action too. Will check the security again. However our database is secured and protected by the best security measures that can be taken, so all the information is secure. Even after running the unresponsive scripts, the bot/user could not get through. The website blocked all the scripts and made them harmless.

Ganesh, which browser are you using? I have not gotten a chance to change the code but because of Facebook connect and the chat, the website seems to be messed up in IE. Change to Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. I use those browsers as they are known for the least amount of bugs. IE is a bunch of bugs, not an internet browser :p The bugs of IE will be taken out once I get a chance to sit and go through the code again.

There are a few minor bugs which need to be taken care, but my schedule has changed a bit from the time when I was in India and I have not been spending the required time on the website. My apologies for that.

Yeah, she needs some time. The Facebook connect and the chat are not as straight forward as I thought. Since our website is already an operating system on the web, any additions need to be added very carefully. I will go through the code and give you a bug free on IE too website. But my advice will always be to use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi hamza,

Perhaps we can modify new user creation to include a verification process , so that spammers cannot log in at all and only genuine offroaders can post messages?

I was sleeping but thank God we have Brigadier Ali who saved the day! ๐Ÿ˜€

The registration has been changed to “By Admin Only” again like we had it before till I figure out what has happened and why are bots finding their way into the website.

Now in order to get access, all users who register newly will have to get through admin authentication.

    y no use captcha ?

Captcha was giving way. It was not not effective for some reason against these bots. I will add some more security and then the activation by email will be reopened.
