New improved cleaned up style, keeping the functions and buttons as much as possible in the same place
Share on Facebook – Now you can share your topics on Facebook directly from the Dubai Offroaders website
Follow your favourite marshals and members – You can now follow your favourite people on Dubai Offroaders and you will be kept updated on their activities on their activities
Mention – If you now use an “@” symbol before anyone’s username. He or she will be notified that someone has mentioned them in a post
Removed the buggy and un-secure chat. Live chat has been removed for now because it was buggy and had security problems. If I find a chat which meets the requirements and is non buggy and secure, I will put it back up
Rest, apart from these new additions .. it’s the same website with all the functions present and tuned for better performance. Database table optimized. Server tuned.
If you find any bugs anywhere or something that is not working, please post it here .. and I will have a look at it immediately.
Its looking quite neat now @hamza. (Am trying the @ feature here.)
1. the live chat feature was a great tool and an integral part of the site. would love to have it back in some form.
2. there is no date and time shown for any of the posts. i mean it shows the date and time of the latest post for that thread on the home page but not on the actual post in that thread.
3. a suggestion would be to have a direct link for “Drives completed:” somewhere in the top banner as that visibility might encourage people to update.

@ Hamza Firstly great job on the upgrade bro, 21st century stuff ..nice,
Zarir makes some interesting points which I know you have responded too, the live chat is useful for dropping in on, kinda like coffee shop stuff!! The time date stamp on post is good idea although not at the risk of clutter. Any technique to make the drives completed, on members personal profiles easier to update would be good.

Post time and date now showing neatly on every post.
Number of drives now showing prominently on every post made by a member.
Still thinking and finding a good chat to integrate. 🙂
