    Thanks a lot Gerry for the wonderful drive !!! :thanks: :thanks: One of the best drives, I would say. The best part of it was we were about to end the drive towards the road wherin suddenly a voice on radio(None other than Ganesh) , Can we hit the dunes once more before we exit. I think all the vehicles in the convoy equally voted for it & we were ON for the next one which was more amazing. The cars in the convoy could feel Gerry increasing the driving level slowly with excellent slide slopes. Thanks a lot, also it was interesting to be the second car behind the Marshal(Gerry).

    @Ganesh
    : I will sure remember the safe distance ๐Ÿ˜€ !!! Thanks a lot for your tips :thanks: Also it was good when you were leading the convoy eventhough for a short while in between. :drive:

    @Saif
    : I got the opportunity to have you with me to get some interesting driving tips as Tushar was with Pratheek. Lucky me. Thanks a lot for your driving tips :thanks:

    @Andy
    : Thanks for your sweep & a big “HI” to the cute little girls ๐Ÿ™‚

    Sorry for Tushar & Jayesh who had to leave in between to help the Pathfinder(Minaj) which broke it’s suspension. You guys sacrified your day & thats the DO famous for helping the team …..See you all on another week. Hopefully next week. I will post the photos taken

    Its learning each & every day :yesss: !!! See you all next week. :drive: :drive: :drive:

    A good pleasant drive with the new bees….Everyone reached the meeting point Tawi Nizwa at 7am…Ricardo couldnt make it for the drive….So the convoy was split into two by Tushar…

    The two leads were Gerry and Jayesh….I was told to join Gerry as the sweep and Andy was the sweep for Jayesh’s convoy….Good to see Tushar making it for the drive :-BD and was accompanying Jayesh in his car….Saif joined Pratik in his Prado….The two lead marshals gave a short breifing about the drive and once deflated the two convoys left deciding to meet at Pink Rock….

    Gerry started his drive with nice and small dunes letting the new bees taste the feel of the sand….Minaz with his Pathfinder was facing some problems in the start and was getting stuck a couple of times….and was easily recovered everytime…..After some time, Gerry instructed me to lead the drive and he would take the sweep position….Thank u Gerry and Tushar for giving me the opportunity to lead the convoy ๐Ÿ™‚ ….. I led the convoy of 5 cars for nearly 15 minutes and Minaz still was facing some stucks….No issues buddy, experience makes a man perfect….

    But then at one point, Minaz’s pathfinder gave up and the suspension spring rod broke ๐Ÿ™ ….Never seen such a situation earlier ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ….and the tyre was in an awkward position not able to move an inch….We then quickly with the help of Saif used the jack to lift the car….and we requested Tushar to come back to help us solve the issue…. Tushar, Jayesh and his entire convoy of other 5 cars came back to the point where we were and then decided that the only option to get the car recovered is through a recovery car from Badayer….

    So Tushar, Jayesh and Imran left the drive to get the recovery guy…..and Gerry was told to lead the convoy of remaining 7 cars to reach Badayer via dunes…..
    This particualr drive – from behind the pink rock to Badayer via Big Red – was a nice one with good pace and momentum showed by all the drivers :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: ….the sand was really soft at some areas and a couple of drivers had some minor stucks which was recovered soon and we then reached Badayer at 11am…..Tushar too reached back to Badayer and informed us that Minaz’s suspension coil was fixed temporarily and then everybody left.

    Tushar had to stay back so that Minaz’s car could be got back to Badayer and then I checked with him and found out that the car would be towed in a recovery vehicle to the garage for repair as it was not advisable to drive it on the road…..

    Thanks a ton Tushar and Jayesh for the help and support you provided in this difficult situation….Im extremely sorry Tushar for not waiting with u at Badayer as I had to drop my fellow passengers back home as they were fasting a day before EID……

    Thank u Gerry for the excellent drive and special thanks to Saif for all the expert guidance and support you provided to the new bees….

    Andy……u did a brillaint job at the sweep…….Gr8 work buddy……thanks a ton…… :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

    Overall a very good drive and cheers to all……..Please have a look at the pictures on our facebook page……and those who have some more pics clicked….please upload them too….

    See you all for another thrilling drive…….Cheers……

    Wish you all EID MUBARAK………

    Yes Thanseer we did, ๐Ÿ˜• ๐Ÿ˜• unfortunately we had to leave our Senior marshal all alone with the break down without his car ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™ , which wasn’t that pleasant in my view, poor thing didn’t have a ride back home.

    the drive was excellent till we had a break down, the drivers in my convoy drove really well :ymapplause: :ymapplause: i did test them a bit, i was followed by Abhimanyu,Pratik&tushar,Imran & Andy as sweep with his little girls :thanks: :thanks:

    we drove from Tawi to pink rock…pleasent drive !! :drive: :drive:

    TUSHAR u are the man off the moment kept the Clubs motto alive “no one is left behind” :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

    Wow!! what a trip. Enjoyed it!!

    Jayesh, thanks for the great lead. Tushar and Andy, thanks for guiding me out of the bowl. I got stuck a couple of times but hopefully getting better at it (i mean getting better at getting out, not better at getting stuck… haha)

    Unfortuantely Minaz’s car broke down so Tushar was kind enough to make sure the recovery guy was arranged and the tow truck was arranged before we dropped him home. Truly, the DO motto of no man left behind is something that gives us newbies great comfort and confidence to keep coming every week. Hats off to all of you pros who have to put up with us newbies. Thanks again for all the guidance and training… :thanks:
