Hey guys, thanks for the awesome experience, worth staying up for! The food was amazing with a serious amount of chicken! The drive was lovely and especially the second part was very smooth without any hiccups. I much prefer to look at Jasmine then at Satwinder and after hearing that she’s a mean driver I would like to propose to put Satwinder in the babyseat and have Jasmine do all the driving in the future. Between the hunt for the dangerous mighty desert spider and the nowhere to be seen scorpion I had a truly fantastic time!

Just for clarification. All the thanks for the food is for Kumar. I did nothing and I paid nothing, it just was a funny comment from Kumar that lead to the confusion……so double thanks for Kumar! ๐Ÿ˜€ :thanks:

    Dear DubaiOffroaders Club….

I take this opportunity and pleasure in thanking all the marshals and the chief of our club to give all of us this wonderful experience of the night drive in the desert….

Personally, I enjoyed this drive to the maximum…..all these days, I use to love the desert at the day time looking at these beautiful dunes….but then when the drive started for the night drive, I loved the desert even more….it was pitch dark and u cant see anything except the tracks and dunes which your car head lights show u….

As per the plan, we all met at the meeting point at Tawi Nazwa at 11.30 p.m…..It was also the deflation point….I would say for any member in “Dubai Offroaders Club”, it would have been a great sight to see almost all Marshals in action….Thanks a ton to all the senior Marshals, Chiefs to make it for the drive to give us the wonderful experience….

I could easily see the thrill in everyone abt the drive to start….Then nearly at 12.00 a.m. Salim Khan insisted we start the drive….so we all lined up and followed Mr. Tushar Surve who was the lead for the drive….accompanied by the most senior person of our club, the founder, Mr. Ahmed Parvez…..

Tushar was damn excited about using his extra lights for the lead.. ๐Ÿ˜€

Then at the starting point….The Chief Marshal of our club, Mr.Ali gave us the briefing abt the drive and gave the numbers to each car of the convoy….We had in all 17 cars in the convoy (I think)…..normally we would defenitely break such a big convoy in two or three groups in day time….but as this was the first night drive experience for this season, the Chief decided to have just one convoy …..

In this drive…we had only one new comer…Mr. Abhinav….

The Lead Marshal, Tushar started the drive followed by G Kumar, and the rest of us…..

The drive was smooth and too exciting to sight the dunes at night …..then at one time….i was not able to sight Saif who was supposed to follow my car…..Then we waited for the rest of the convoy to reach us….but then we were made to know that Ali and Salim had decided to take the convoy to Pink rock….

In the meantime, while waiting for the second convoy….myself and Tushar wished Gerry on his birthday by calling him….

Then we sighted the other convoy at one point and then again we all joined as one convoy and proceeded towards the destination point…the pink rock area….

Once we were at the point….we got 2 mats and spread them so that everyone can sit and enjoy the beautiful experience of the full night….

Satvinder with his family….the sweet Jassi…joined us nearly at about 2am ….

As a surprise, Ali had arranged for the music too….Thank you Sir….and Tushar too for the audio connection in his car, and we had a very good music to add up the flavour to the night….

At one point we found a desert spider….and successfully targeted it so that no one is harmed…

The special thing abt this night drive was the Dinner sponsored by Mr. GKumar….

On behalf of the entire club, I would like to thank Kumar for the dinner, specially the arrangements and the hospitality he gave us all…. :thanks: Colonel ๐Ÿ˜‰

The chief invited me for a karoake singing and I indeed had fun in singing a song….Thank you Chief….

Around 3.15 a.m. the seniors decided that we should leave now and then we all followed Tushar back to Tawi….again the convoy split into two and we all reached tawi by 4 am….inflated the tyres, thanked and wished everyone goodnite and drove back home….

In all…the experience of driving at night was just awesome….and I personally THANK all the marshals of our club for this wonderful experience and also mainly the best part of the club which is safety of the convoy….

This Ramadan….let us all wish that we have such drives more and more….

See you all soon for the next drive….till then keep driving safe….

    Ramdan Kareem….

Awesome report Ganesh :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: you have addressed even the minor facts, Thanks buddy :thanks: Chief was demanding for a drive report, he should be happy now ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope the report is good enough to visualize the whole event, for those who missed this great drive.

It was a great line up of around 17 cars in a single convoy with almost all Marshals in action with Ahmed Bhai. Also we had the Company of Saad Bhai & Team at pink rock. All together the drive was great & smooth and the weather was also good contributing to the grand success of the 1st night drive of this season. Thanks to all and many more to come :drive:

On a personal note, I will be missing all those great drives due to my vacation :(( Will miss u all and the sand… Look forward to join back ASAP
