    You can pray in a mosque on the way. As winter approaches the prayer time will be closer to the meeting time and it would be better and convenient and safe to pray on the way as you avoid over-speeding and reaching late. On Al Ain road, you can pray Juma here.

    Motorolla 777 is the one which most of us use. Ask them to programme it for you to have the regular frequencies. You will find the usual frequencies with channels on DO forum if u search for it. But the DM guys know them and will do it for u.

    aneez bhai, you have option to join the Thursday drive.

    Asem Bhai missed that as well . By the time the drive was announced I had made plans with family..

    Have you guys confirmed your membership? If not after signing in your account confirm your membership and then inform the moderator (Mr Ahmed or Faateh or Hamza) and once they confirm it then you will start seeing the “I am in” button and then you can register for drives.

    As a newbie you go with newbie convoy so don’t worry as it’s going to be newbie level for you.
    DO NOT forget to register for the drive clicking on the green button “I’M IN”.

    And dont forget to bring a 2 way radio with DO frequencies programmed. Without a radio even advanced drivers have a hard time. You will have a great time and DO newbie drives are very safe. See u soon on the drives…
