Many thanks for making us feel welcome yesterday – it was enormously enjoyable. Many thanks also to the patience and skill of the marshals and rescuers who got us out of trouble but also took the time to dispense advice, tips and techniques.
Finally thanks for laying on rain storms so that we felt at home – it all added up to a really memorable first drive – looking forward to the next time.

PS Surprisingly no damage on the Tundra 🙂

Hi – just registered for this drive – never driven on sand before so will be looking for help to get set up etc. I have competed in the past but this is totally new to me – really looking forward to it and to meeting you all.

    Hi everyone, I’m Neal.

    Name: Neal
Vehicle: Toyota Tundra 1794 edition. No mods, absolutely stock (although I’m open to suggestions).
Occupation: Security and investigations – financial services sector
Offroading: I used to regularly compete offroad in an unmodified vehicle class (Nissan Patrol) but never, ever offroaded properly on sand so am treating myself as a total novice/newbie

I’m just in the process of getting together all the kit advised and will aim to join a newbie drive with the coming few weeks – looking forward to meeting you all in due course.

Any advice re purchasing equipment here in Dubai is welcome
