Hi Guys,
I am Julian Roberts and have been in the business of Recruiting people for companies here in UAE.
I have been a couple of time in the desert when I had a GMC Envoy and then figured out it’s not the right vehicle if I wanted to pursue my passion for offroading. Sold the car and then was stuck with a sedan for some time. Finally managed to buy myself a Jeep and was curious to learn. Came across many offroading clubs until Dubai Offroaders caught my eye.
Joined the group without hesitation and have successfully completed 2 Drives with them.
Hoping to stick around for a long time with the anticipation of learning more techniques and equipping myself with all the experience and skills needed.
Thank you to the group and all the experienced drivers for the opportunity to learn.
G.Kumar and Gerry…….A very big thank you to the both of you.
G. Kumar, one among the greatest challege for you is to pave the path for us new bees…..and it was a great experience for me in particular. The dunes were amazing and the path simply awesome for someone like me who has not been too much in the desert.
It was an amazing drive. You made some really difficult dunes look very easy to accomplish. Hats of to you……
Gerry, I must say your role needed a lot of patience and you have done a great job by watching upon all of us and making sure are wheels were spinning. Thank you for making the tyre pop out of my car look so simple. I freaked out the moment that happended. The way you took control of the situation and made the situation a perfect learning for all of us, was simply outstanding.
Great team work and outstanding performance by the new bees……( no one was stuck in the sand).
Happy learning and dune bashing…..
See you all soon…..
Cheers,
