Your current tyre size is way better than the one you consider shifting to.
What type of tyres do you run? MT, HT, AT?
They are AT. They have a snow symbol on the side and I was told that they are more designed for rocks and therefore do not deflate properly for sand. Also due to the tread pattern when stuck in sand they dig deeper.

AT are not too bad as long as below 3 years old. Try deflating down to 12 PSI and keep driving.
If budget and lift allows you can increase the size but keep the rims.
