:ymhug: @Ankit … getting stuck and pop out is all part of the game :yesss: … but wen you have bonus troubles to make it worse… never mind… ๐
BTW how did you damage the rim :-\
Thanks for a nice drive Joe…
But it was a bad day for me…. First of all was not really ready for the drive as I am still recovering from the fever Flu :ymsick:
Arrived late at meeting point.. my bad I misunderstood 3pm as meeting time… my deflator and PSI meter was in my other car… borrowed it from @dedw8 and quickly deflated … but as I was already late I was in a hurry and didnt deflate to proper pressure and got stuck around 5 minutes in to the drive… had a pop out… and got stuck couple more time on the ridges… thanks @paskalr1 and @dedw8 pulling me out most of the time… :ymhug:
After we reached Al Qudra, few of us wanted to leave, so we made a small convoy lead by @Avinash Sudheer and left, but again was going thru the sand to reach the road by a shortcut… but most of us didnt have proper lighting and it was getting challenging, so we had come back to the lake area and follow the gravel… on our way back there was a NIssan Patrol which was stuck and @Avinash Sudheer got them unstuck and we continued.
To my surprise after all this my air compressor was not turning on :-\ it had some loose contact… somehow managed to fill up and leave.
On the road my car was shaking like anything above 60KMPH… X( Didnt know what was causing he issue till I removed the tyre and checked them today to find almost 1KG of sand inside the front right (the tyre that popped out during the drive)
My first intermediate drive :drive: It was an amazing experience. Got to learn some new techniques, how to climb up to a ridge without loosing power, prolonged side sloping, gained some extra confidence.
Unfortunately had a pop-out, but that also turned out to be a learning experience. The tyre was not ready to make the sweet sound even after filling air up to 40PSI, had to take the car for a spin to get the proper seating of tyre on to rim.
Al thanks to Duncan, John, Fadi and all others who joined the drive.
Looking forward to next drive… :thanks:
