Sounds good, will look into that and let you know what happens, also have you looked at installing rear axle degree shims to try to eliminate the vibration ? if its from the drive line.

Thank you very much for all the advice guys, I understand that this is a never ending process, but my problem is not with the height of the car, it’s with the load carrying capacity of the car with the stock suspension. I realize I was not clear when I posted my question, so here is a little background.

My car is usually loaded with spare parts and other equipment required to service machines. These Parts can easily be over a hundred kilos and that’s without adding the tools. The rear bottoms out over every bump and sometimes it gets a little hairy. My work takes me around the UAE and sometimes to places where the main road is a dirt strip. So, I was looking at getting a stiffer suspension and not a lift in particular. But it seams that everything out there offers a higher ride so I was going to settle for that.

I have done my reading and I am considering spacers and a little trimming. I do go out into the desert a bit and you are right, the stock car is just fine for the obstacles out there providing one is safe and smart.

In any case, thank you all for taking the time to reply and share your experiences. I hope to see you all soon on a drive….

    Regards

P.S. Mustafah, can you please explain the problem with the vibration ? do you sense it a certain speeds or all the time ?

    Hello all,

Prannoy V Alva here from Bombay, have been in the UAE since I was 6. I was introduced to the group by a fellow member Collin and my wife and I are looking forward to our first drive with you all. I drive a Nissan Xterra and we have been on a couple outings but nothing worth mentioning.

Till next time….Hope you all have a great day !
