    What is the reason to change this. Is the standard skid plate delivered by Toyota not strong enough? I am driving 2017 model FJ cruiser.

    The standard one of the FJ at the first hit bends badly. And looks also very ugly!

    one of the FJs with stock skid plate broke it’s radiator on a fewbie run! He has posted a video of this on YouTube

    @joe.zeinoun

    Always a pleasure driving with you man! I must admit at one point in the technical bits I was thinking to myself ‘how are we even going to get out of here’ but you carved out a route that made it look like a breeze.. it takes great skill to do that

    Great drive, perfect mix of a challenging and fun route

    True that! And thanks Sahil !

    I was reading reviews on K&N air filters before I went ahead and replaced my paper filter with a washable /oiled one, I stumbled upon this review/ comparison where it is argued that the stock filters actually did better than the oiled ones. What do you think ?

    Hey guys, I bought a pajero in 2008 for off-roading and realized that 3.0L engine on a lwb is too weak for the purpose and ended up driving on tarmac. Can someone tell me if I really can do a little bit of sand driving with whatever little hp and torque that I have on my car.
    Thanks in advance
    Satish

    Satish,

    3L Pajero is not a bad vehicle. I started doing offroading with this vehicle. Know your car better..

    Pls have a look in the above thread for more information on Pajero..

    Thanks Humayun , I scanned through the site and found your posts from 2011 and the pictures. incidentally, I just booked an FJ but cant wait to hit the sand with my Pajero :-W .
