Sorry Matt, we can’t make this new date.
We are in and will drive up on Friday morning. We went this way a few weeks ago and it’s continuous roadworks after you get past AD city which might slow you down on Thursday night.

There are some good Youtube channels to get into the Overlanding frame of mind. How to prepare, what to carry, the highs and lows of being self-sufficient etc. I particularly like these ones;

Awesome writeup @JustDen B-) It was fun to drive in your group yesterday. Many firsts for me – thunder and lightning in the desert, big dunes in the dark, definitely the biggest, steepest descent i’ve driven. :thanks:
At one point @anastb took the wheel of my car and showed me how to drive it properly :)) :)) Thanks for the lesson buddy! It showed me I’m being way too kind and gentle! Looking forward to next time!
