DESERT DRIVE, MULTIPLE CONVOYS, ALL SKILL LEVELS, ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON, THE 23RD OF NOVEMBER ‘24

DRIVER’S REQUIREMENT: Suitable for all drivers of ALL LEVELS.

For this drive:
– Drivers will be will be segregated according to their skill level.
– Multiple convoys will be available to cater to drivers of all levels.

Bookings for this event will close at 11:59 PM the day before the event is scheduled.

IMPORTANT: A WhatsApp group will be created for the participants that signed up for the event. This is where we will share important updates and information to get each driver ready for the drive.

To be included in the WhatsApp group that contains all trip-related information a participant must:
– Provide their WhatsApp number in their profile.
– OR send a Whatsapp message to +97152 703 6860 including their Dubai Offroaders username.

MEETING TIME: 2:30 PM 1430HRS

MEETING END: 6:00 PM 1800HRS

MEETING POINT: Will be communicated by WhatsApp to the registered participants only.

What you need to know before signing up:
1. The driver of the vehicle must have a valid UAE driving licence, and the vehicle, driver, and passengers must be covered by an appropriate insurance policy.
2. The driver and all passengers of the vehicle should have read and be aware of the disclaimer of Dubai Offroaders, that they indemnify all the officials and marshals of Dubai Offroaders, and that they themselves bear full responsibility for any risk of property damage, bodily injury, or death while participating in this adventure sport.
3. This drive is not recommended for children under the age of 3 years.
4. Any child on the drive must be secured in an age-appropriate car seat or booster seat.
5. Seat belts must always be worn by the driver and any and all passengers.

What you will need:
1. Fully functional four-by-four vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
2. Air compressor in working condition.
3. Recovery rope/strap.
4. Refreshments for you and your passengers (if you have them).

Absolute must-have:
1. Compatible Communication Radio pre-programmed to DO frequencies.
2. Offroad flag attached to the vehicle.

The RADIO & OFFROAD FLAG are mandatory safety requirements every participant must have to ensure the safety of all the vehicles participating in the drive. DO frequencies can be found on the radio communication guide (letter F) above.

ETIQUETTE:
1. Registering and not coming along may stop others from joining and is easily avoidable, so please be courteous and withdraw if you can’t make it.
2. Be punctual.
3. Any participants not registered on the forum site will not be allowed to join the drive.
4. Passengers in registered participants’ vehicles are not counted as participants and are free to join.
