This drive is suitable for all levels of drivers from absolute beginners to intermediate drivers with some experience to very advanced offroad drivers, with developed skills.

THIS IS A MEMBER-ONLY EVENT AND IS RESTRICTED TO DUBAI OFFROADERS MEMBERS ONLY.
THE BOOKINGS FOR THE EVENT CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT, ON FRIDAY THE 22ND OF FEBRUARY, ONE DAY BEFORE THE DAY OF THE EVENT.

TRIP CHARGES:
AED1,000/- PER VEHICLE, FOR NON-DO MEMBERS, IRRESPECTIVE OF THE NUMBER OF PASSENGERS.
AED500/- PER VEHICLE, FOR DO MEMBERS, IRRESPECTIVE OF THE NUMBER OF PASSENGERS.

A WHATSAPP GROUP WILL BE CREATED AFTER THE CLOSURE OF THE BOOKINGS AND THE RELEVANT INFORMATION WILL BE DIRECTLY CONVEYED TO THE CONFIRMED PARTICIPANTS.

Meeting Time: 09:00 AM 0900HRS., Saturday 24^th February 2024 morning.
The drive will finish at 6:00 PM 1800Hrs. Sunday 25^th February 2024 evening

Meeting Point: To be announced.

The main target of the trip:
Exploring a possible easy off-road route from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and enjoying being in pure nature.
Nature of the event and terrain:
– Overland activity.
– Slowly going and nature witness.
– Sandy desert.
Driving skill requirements:
– All levels.
Trip main destinations:
– Al Faqa desert – Nahil desert – Sweihan Desert – Al Khatim desert – Al Fayah Desert – Al Wathbah Lake
Essential safety equipment:
– First aid kit.
– Fire extinguisher.
– Safety goggles.
– Safety triangle.
4WD, Recovery & camping equipment:
– Car tank full of fuel.
– Tire pressure gauge.
– Air compressor.
– Off-road flag.
– Radio.
– Basic recovery tools (Shovel, rope, shackles, boards…etc).
– Basic camping tools (tent, chair, table, lights…etc).
Trip Plan
Day1:
Meeting point – Visiting Al Faqaa desert – Driving Nahil desert – Stopping at Nahil petrol station and grocery shop – Lunch break – Driving Sweihan East desert – Visiting “The Old Lady” dune – Visiting “Al Naqrah” dune – Camping in Sweihan East.
Visiting Bowls of Sweihan West – Cross the road to Sweihan East.
Day2:
Leaving Sweihan East – Entering Sweihan West – Driving Sweihan West – Driving Al Khatim desert – Driving desert at Al Fayah – Visiting Al Wathbah Lake – back home.

IMPORTANT:
a. The Driver of the vehicle must have a Valid UAE Driving License and the vehicle, Driver, and passengers must be covered by an appropriate insurance cover.
b. The Driver and all passengers of the vehicle should have read and be aware of the disclaimer of Dubai Offroaders, that they indemnify all the officials and Marshals of Dubai Offroaders and that they bear full responsibility for any risk of property damage, bodily injury or death while participating in this Adventure sport.
c. This drive is not recommended for children under the age of 3 years.
d. Any child on the drive must be secured in an age-appropriate car seat or booster seat.
e. Seat belts must always be worn by the Driver and all/ any passengers.

Checklist:
a) Fully functional four-by-four vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
b) Air compressor in working condition.
c) Recovery rope/strap.
d)Refreshments for you and your passengers, if any.

e) Compatible Communication Radio pre-programmed to DO frequencies.
f) Offroad flag attached to the vehicle

THE LAST TWO ITEMS, ARE MANDATORY SAFETY REQUIREMENTS, TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ALL THE VEHICLES PARTICIPATING IN THE DRIVE.

Etiquette:
1) Registering and not coming along may stop others from joining and is easily avoidable – so please be courteous and withdraw if you can’t make it.
2) Be punctual.
3) Any participants not registered on the forum site will not be allowed to join the drive.
4) Passengers in Registered participants’ vehicles are not counted as participants and are free to join.
