Trip total distance: 4300 km.
Off-road driving skills required: Beginner and above.
Terrain: Mountain tracks.
Type of nature: High altitude rocky mountains and tree forests.
Expected temperature: 24-26 at day, 14-16 at night.
Accommodation during trip: Camping

Trip plan:
Day 1: Crossing borders into Saudi – driving the road to Riyadh – staying in hotel for the night.
Day 2: Driving the road to Abha setting camp in Abha.
Day 3 to day 7: Driving offroad mountain trails around Abha – visiting historical places – Camping.
Day 8: Driving the road to Riyadh – staying in hotel for the night.
Day9: Crossing borders into UAE – driving back home.

Nature of the event :
– Overland expedition
– Easy slow pace

– Isolated remote locations in nature

Challenges in the trip:
– Participants must be self sufficient with equipment and supplies for the drive in remoteness.
– Participants must show flexibility in dealing with any unexpected situation like weather changes or vehicle breakdowns.
– Trip is expected to include long driving hours.

Trip management and preparations:
– The leader has all the rights to change trip plan, route, or even suspend the trip according to safety, weather conditions or according to the best for trip management without approval of the participants.
– Participants must support each other and support the trip leader in all cases.
– WhatsApp chat group is to be created for communicating and for discussing trip preparations.

TRIP CHARGES
MEMBERS ONLY TRIP FOR DUBAI OFFROADERS MEMBERS.
TO BE COMMUNICATED DIRECTLY TO THE PARTICIPANTS BY THE LEAD MARSHAL OF THE TRIP.

Meeting Time: 9:00 AM 0900HRS. SATURDAY THE 23RD OF MAY ‘2026.
The drive ends at 6:00 PM 1800Hrs. SUNDAY TTHE 31ST OF MAY ‘2026.

1. MAXIMUM 10 REGISTRATIONS.
2. MINIMUM OF 6 REGISTRATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE TRIP TO PROCEED.
3. Meeting Point: To be announced.
4. Please be punctual to avoid making many others wait for you, as well as to maximize our time on the adventure.

IMPORTANT:
a. The Driver of the vehicle must have a Valid UAE/ OMAN/ KSA Driving License and the vehicle, Driver, and passengers must be covered by an appropriate insurance cover.
b. The Driver and all passengers of the vehicle should have read and be aware of the disclaimer of Dubai Offroaders, that they indemnify all the officials and Marshals of Dubai Offroaders and that they themselves bear full responsibility for any risk of property damage, bodily injury or death while participating in this Adventure sport.
c. This drive is not recommended for children under the age of 3 years.
d. Any child on the drive must be secured in an age-appropriate car seat or booster seat.
e. Seat belts must always be worn by the Driver and all/ any passengers.

Checklist:

1. Fully functional four-by-four vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
2. KSA Visa, ideally taken before the date, of travel.
3. The cost of the Visa will vary depending on the applicant’s Nationality.
4. Camping gear, mattress/ sleeping bag etc.
5. Cooking & BBQ equipment
6. Change of clothes, and swimwear.
7. Basic first aid kit and medications, as required.
8. Closed-toe footwear, waterproof material is preferable for Wadi hikes.
9. Refreshments for yourself and your passengers.
10. Fire Extinguishers, 2 Nos. Powder type, at least 5 Kgs. each, plus a fire blanket.

INCLUSIONS
Route plan, guidance & on-site support, throughout the drive.
EXCLUSIONS
UAE border exit fees and KSA visa fees.
KSA Visa should ideally be taken online, in advance, to avoid any last minute hassles at the border.
