Another fun and successful drive with great company.
We were 5 cars setting off in the end and completed 46km from Al Faquaa to Badayer in very good time and without a single stuck or pop out.
We covered every big dune and two tree valley and had the desert to ourselves until we were coming in to badayer where the snake like convoys were just entering in time for sunset.
Hope all had fun. Until next time.
It was a marvellously carved out track by Duncan with Mistermud keeping an eye on us in his magnificent rig.
The objective was to just drive and cover as much area and dunes as possible on our destination to Badayer. It was a lovely day to be out and about in the sands with the occasional sighting of the ship of the desert for much of the drive. Sometimes the stucks and pop-outs give you an opportunity to relax and take a bit of a break but no such luck this time as we were flying across the desert and had to deliberately stop at a couple of points to chit-chat and decide “what next”?
Everyone drove well with Faheem being an able second lead. Thanks for the pics Faraz.
Thank you Duncan and Levi for leading and managing the drive.
