Learner’s Drive on Friday the 11th of Oct.2013

    Day and date : Friday, the 11th of Oct. ‘2013
    Drive Type : Learner’s Drive (Anybody can participate).
    Meeting Point : Khatam intersection on underpass 3 on the Sharjah Kalba Road.
    Meeting Point Co-Ordinates :
    Lat/Lon hddd.ddddd = N25.16668 E55.82608
    Lat/Lon hddd.mm.mmm = N25 10.001 E55 49.565
    Meeting Time : 15:45Hrs.
    Drive Start: 16:00 Hrs.
    Drive Route: Khatam to Al Faya.
    Drive Terrain: soft & tricky dunes
    Duration: 2-2.30 hours approx.

    Checklist:-
    a) Ensure your 4 x 4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
    b) Compatible Radio is a must.
    c) Carry all necessary offroad gears, in good condition.
    d) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).
    e) Full Tank fuel must

    Sorry about last weekend and thanks for the help and patience. My fan was shot and probably the reason I recently had to replace the previously exploded radiator tank. Jeep should be done tomorrow. I will check it out and if any issues will cancel by Thursday if that is ok.

    It was a great drive…all drivers did an excellent job..
    Trust all of you enjoyed the drive..and of course RAK was great at sweep…thanks for the wonderful support..
